Sriven Systems Inc. is seeking a Network Security Operations Engineer to manage and maintain firewall security policies and operations. The role involves processing firewall access requests, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
Responsibilities:
- Process firewall access requests using Tufin by creating, modifying, and removing firewall security policies
- Manage and update NAT policies and firewall routing as required
- Review, validate, and maintain firewall policies for production and lab environments
- Support firewall rule reviews and align policies with network segmentation strategies
- Assist with firewall policy updates during DMZ and network migration activities
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues across enterprise network environments
- Perform baseline traffic validation and resiliency testing following firewall changes
- Maintain firewall policy documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
- Assist with post-migration cleanup and removal of legacy firewall rules
- Ensure all changes comply with established security policies and change management procedures
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, ticket-driven environment while maintaining high quality and accuracy
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Network Security or Firewall Operations
- Hands-on experience with Tufin (required)
- Strong experience managing firewall security policies, NAT policies, and firewall routing
- Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network connectivity issues
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security principles
- Experience working with enterprise firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or Fortinet
- Familiarity with network segmentation, DMZ environments, and firewall governance
- Experience with change management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
