Schreiner Group is a privately held, family-owned organization specializing in high-tech label manufacturing, primarily for the healthcare and automotive industries. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring customer needs are met while contributing to the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Generates new sales with new customers thereby generating new business
- Up to 70% of time and efforts to be spent on new business generation and activities
- Ensures that existing customer’s needs, demands, and questions are met
- Keeps a constant line of communication open to the customer. Interacts and communicates with our customers on a daily basis. Set up status meetings with the customer
- Conducts market analysis and research regarding the best pricing structure for the customer and company
- Manages customer issues or complaints and moves to resolve the issue by direct them to the appropriate department
- Development of product solutions together with customers and internal sales
- Aid in the development of new products
- Develop an annual budget and forecasts. Explain significant variance between actual and budgeted/forecasted figures
- Determines the most crucial needs of the customer to come up with the best account management strategy and objectives
- Conducts account and customer reviews and interviews to anticipate customer needs
- Coordinate with the sales team, product development, colleagues in Europe and Asia, and other staff members to make sure customer’s demands are being met
- Forecast sales for customer accounts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher educational degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Marketing or other related discipline
- Located in one of the following states: MI, IN, OH, IL, WI
- 3-5 years' experience in outside sales and project management
- 3-5 years' experience in negotiating new customer contracts
- Experience utilizing a CRM
- Intermediate to advanced level of computer knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suites
- Must be located in Eastern or Central Time Zone, and Must live within 1 hour drive of a major airport
- Willing to travel frequently (40%) within North America (Mostly domestic), with sporadic international travel (typically Germany)
- Business level or greater fluency in Spanish preferred, but not mandatory
