RGP is a next-generation human capital firm, and they are seeking a Workday US Payroll Product Manager to own and optimize a payroll ecosystem for over 10,000 U.S. employees. The role involves driving product strategy, leading system enhancements, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various departments to deliver accurate payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary product owner for Workday US Payroll, from requirements to deployment
- Maintain the payroll roadmap aligned with HR and Finance goals
- Monitor Workday releases and implement relevant new features
- Partner with Payroll Operations, Time & Attendance, and Absence Management to ensure data accuracy
- Oversee integrations with Workday HCM, Benefits, Darwin Mercer, tax providers, and financial systems
- Lead testing and deployment of payroll configuration changes
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws, SOX, and data privacy requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years Workday Payroll experience with product ownership or leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and operations
- Experience with Time & Attendance, Absence Management, and Benefits integration
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
