Fluidstack is focused on delivering large-scale compute infrastructure for AI to enhance human freedom. They are seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to commission mechanical systems for gigawatt-scale data centers, ensuring that systems perform as one integrated unit and improving the commissioning process based on test findings.
Responsibilities:
- Commission mechanical systems for gigawatt-scale data centers: chilled water plants, CDUs, liquid loops, and airside systems from Level 2 through Level 5
- Write and execute test scripts that prove capacity, redundancy, and failure response, not just that equipment turns on
- Run functional and integrated systems tests with controls and electrical so the building performs as one system
- Feed test findings back into the standard design so the next site commissions faster
Requirements:
- You've commissioned mechanical plant on mission critical facilities through integrated systems testing
- You've written test procedures from sequences of operation, and found where the sequence was wrong
- You read P&IDs and controls drawings fluently
- You troubleshoot live systems with vendors watching and a deadline standing behind you
