They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic initiative, focusing on requirements engineering, process analysis, and cross-functional coordination to translate complex regulatory and business needs into clear technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, structure, and document business and technical requirements
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear and actionable specifications
- Produce structured requirement documentation including functional specifications and user stories
- Ensure requirement traceability throughout the development lifecycle
- Analyze current workflows and system processes
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance operational and system performance
- Act as the interface between product management, engineering, compliance, and operations teams
- Facilitate communication and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and changes
- Collaborate with system architects and engineering teams to validate technical feasibility
- Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement clarification
- Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and milestones
- Maintain project documentation including status reports, risk registers, and implementation artefacts
- Facilitate communication and alignment between project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Requirements Engineer
- Background in fintech, DLT, trading and settlement, trading platforms, digital assets, or financial services
- Strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks
- Exposure to US financial regulations or securities authorities (e.g., the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, etc.)
- Experience documenting requirements using structured methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum / Kanban)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively between business and technical teams
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Exposure to European financial regulations or securities authorities
- Formal experience with project management frameworks and delivery governance
