NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join their world-class NGC Cloud Services team. The role involves driving the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of systems that power global business operations, with a focus on innovative automation and support solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Great opportunity to join the core group at NVIDIA working to architect and build scalable and distributed NGC Cloud services
- Be a technical leader on various projects across the platform, and be a major contributor of the entire platform’s architecture
- Influence architecture and technical direction while empowering teams to own detailed design and implementation decisions
- Drive operational excellence for secure, scalable secrets management, artifact management
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in distributed systems design and development
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent experience
- You possess advanced programming skills to build scalable backend services and micro services architecture. A specialist programmer in Java, Go and/or C++
- Strong technical judgment in secrets management, OCI registry, artifact management at enterprise scale
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, you have the ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams, principles and architects and coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies
- A track record of successful technical leadership and large-scale architecture that impacted critical projects
- Switch effectively between long-term strategic management and near-term tactical management
- Experience with Large-scale Distributed System and cloud multi-tenancy
- Experience with Secrets management, SPIFFE, SPIRE, Supply-chain security, agent/AI platforms and artifact management platforms at enterprise scale
- A go getter attitude to investigate and understand technical requirements for open-ended problems
- Worked in AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, model distribution, or regulated enterprise software delivery
