Netflix is a leading entertainment company that partners with creators to explore innovative storytelling. They are seeking a Software Engineer to join the INK team, focusing on building technology and platforms that support an artist-led production environment for animated content.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to building enterprise-wide technology and platforms for INK to support scalable GenAI-native production across shows
- Partner with senior software engineers to evaluate internal and external algo developments in the context of creative requirements to support artists and technical directors on shows. Assist in packaging successful workflows for use by other artists across the studio
- In collaboration with technical leadership and Netflix infrastructure teams, help define and implement artist distributed compute and workstation requirements. Ensure proper API support for Technical Directors to customize per-show or craft last-mile integration
- Execute on assigned tasks to prototype and test new workflows in real production scenarios, gather feedback from artists, and iterate to improve usability and performance
- Help establish and maintain studio standards around generated assets and materials from the artists. Contribute to developing and maintaining tools for artists that navigate and manage generated materials
- Support the maintenance of the studio production tracking and review toolset. Enable tooling that ensures standardized workflows across productions
- Support Technical Directors and Artists with development and tooling. Provide tooling for the common show environment and standardization, and, where appropriate, APIs for Technical Directors to integrate show-specific solutions
- Provide infrastructure monitoring tools and reports detailing HW and SW usage
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and compliant across projects and use cases
