Cloud7Works, Inc. is an SBA 8(a)-certified small business federal IT contractor specializing in cloud modernization, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and advanced analytics for federal civilian agencies. They are seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to serve as a technical lead on a federal health IT program, focusing on the Entellitrak platform and ensuring system interfaces and architecture are robust and secure.
Responsibilities:

- Execute Entellitrak product installations, version upgrades, performance improvements, and architectural changes
- Design and validate system interfaces; own API and interface control documentation
- Architect and stand up a disaster recovery environment; define recovery objectives and lead failover testing
- Build a repeatable pipeline that exports production data, de-identifies PII, and loads a sanitized dataset into lower environments for testing
- Implement and version-control SQL Server schemas, migration scripts, and rollback procedures; perform database performance testing and tuning
- Transition application authentication from a legacy web policy agent to SAML-based federated authentication
- Deliver in an agile sprint cadence aligned to federal acquisition frameworks
- Resolve Tier III production issues — root cause analysis and durable fixes, not workarounds
- Conduct formal integration testing; author test procedures, evaluation reports, and smoke test scripts
- Harden systems to federal security baselines and support authorization and continuous monitoring
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field — equivalent professional experience considered
- 10+ years of IT experience including system integration and system interface development
- 10+ years of technical experience in health IT environments (concurrent with the above, not additional)
- Hands-on Entellitrak platform experience — configuration, customization, and deployment
- Hands-on Java and Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) development
- Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server — schema design, implementation, and performance tuning
- Demonstrated experience delivering federal systems under an agile acquisition process
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent), or ability to obtain within 6 months of start
- U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a favorable federal background investigation for a public trust / IT-sensitive position (ADP/IT-I or ADP/IT-II)
- Entellitrak version upgrades and multi-environment deployments
- SAML 2.0 and identity federation; migration from a legacy web policy agent to a SAML identity provider
- Disaster recovery architecture and failover validation
- PII de-identification or data-masking pipelines on a federal system of record
- Security hardening to DISA STIGs and NIST SP 800-53; support of an authorization package
- VMware virtualization; Windows and Linux server administration
- Vulnerability scanning and CVE-based remediation
- Section 508 accessibility compliance
