Launch Day is seeking a Growth Marketing Lead to manage the full growth funnel, focusing on acquiring and activating users while ensuring their long-term success. The role requires a hands-on approach to develop growth strategies, create content, and analyze data to drive organic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own the entire growth funnel: acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue
- Build and execute content strategy — blog, newsletter, social, community
- Drive SEO growth through programmatic and editorial content
- Design and run product-led growth experiments (onboarding, activation, referrals)
- Manage a modest paid marketing budget ($5-10K/mo) for high-ROI experiments
- Analyze funnel data and find the biggest leverage points
- Build and grow the GetLaunchDay community (Twitter, Discord, newsletter)
- Create launch campaigns for new features and product updates
Requirements:
- 4+ years in growth, digital marketing, or demand generation for SaaS
- Proven track record growing a B2B or B2C SaaS product
- Deep understanding of content marketing and SEO
- Comfortable with data — SQL or analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog)
- Strong writing skills — you can write a compelling blog post or landing page
- Experience with product-led growth mechanics (onboarding, activation loops)
- Founder mindset — you think about growth holistically, not just campaigns
- Previous startup experience (founder, early-stage growth hire)
- Experience marketing to founders or indie hackers
- Community building experience (Slack, Discord, newsletter with 5K+ subscribers)
- Basic design skills (can create simple graphics and social images)
- Public speaking or podcast experience
