Vice President, Strategic Finance

PayZen is on a mission to bring financial health to healthcare, improving access and affordability for patients while assisting medical providers with cash flow. They are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Finance to lead financial planning and analysis, ensuring long-term growth through robust strategy and actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Lead company-wide financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, liquidity forecasting, and ongoing business performance reviews
• Design and manage the internal operating cadence for financial reporting, providing the executive team and board with data-driven visibility into business health and risk
• Partner with Go-To-Market and Product leaders to develop sophisticated pricing models, unit economic analyses, and impact sizing for new strategic initiatives
• Serve as a strategic project leader for high-priority corporate initiatives, including capital raises, ensuring cross-functional accountability and rigorous financial execution
• Build and scale the Strategic Finance function, managing and mentoring a high-performing team and implementing scalable financial systems and dashboards
• Champion the adoption of AI tools and automation across the Strategic Finance function, identifying opportunities to streamline reporting, forecasting, and analysis workflows and building a culture of continuous innovation within the team
