Policy Analyst

Harvey Nash is a national talent management firm specializing in technology positions. They are seeking a Policy Analyst to support a dynamic Public Policy team for a global leader in e-commerce, focusing on analyzing global policy developments and translating them into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze political, regulatory, and legislative developments across global markets
• Research and interpret complex policy and regulatory information
• Assess the potential impact of policy developments on business priorities
• Prepare policy briefings, reports, and internal updates for senior stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align policy insights with business needs
• Support policy monitoring systems, reporting initiatives, and AI-enabled research tools

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, government relations, consulting, or similar roles
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information
• Experience tracking legislative, regulatory, and policy developments
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-supported written analysis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Curiosity and interest in global political and regulatory developments
• Ability to translate complex policy topics into actionable business insights
• Experience with policy monitoring tools, databases, or research platforms
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for policy research and analysis
• Experience supporting transparency reporting or compliance-related workstreams
• Knowledge of global regulatory and technology policy trends
• Bachelor's degree in public policy, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Business, or a related field preferred
