Acra Lending is a company specializing in alternative income loan products, committed to responsible lending practices and operational efficiency. They are seeking a Business Development Analyst to assist in managing correspondent client relationships and analyze data related to seller transactions. The role involves guiding clients through eligibility reviews, managing submissions, and reporting production metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the submission of qualified loans for flow eligibility reviews, administer providing eligibility reviews to correspondent clients (“Sellers”), administer obtaining conditions from Sellers and tasking condition reviews to Acra resources
- Guide/instruct clients on documents required for qualified eligibility review submissions
- Review loan submissions for correct parsing and indexing of submission documents and to ensure required submission documents are provided by clients
- Collect and report production metrics by client related to submissions
- Work with loan setup on correcting any inadequate submissions
- Distribute completed eligibility reviews to clients and facilitate addressing any questions clients may have related to eligibility reviews
- Receive/collect conditions from clients and task conditions to appropriate operations fulfillment personnel. A) task conditions to Correspondent Credit personnel, B) task conditions to appropriate appraisal review personnel
- Parse, index and task purchase documents associated with closed loan packages (flow and delegated)
- Track, manage report, and analyze production metrics for each client, including but not limited to: a) submission to purchasing ratios, submission to cancellation ratios, loan amounts, rates, number of operations touches per loan
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in processing mortgage loans in either a retail, wholesale or correspondent context
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and ability to compile and analyze data
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
