Techno-Functional Business Analyst

NTT DATA North America is a leading business and technology services provider, committed to innovation and client success. They are seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business units and IT teams in the Life Sciences industry, focusing on requirements gathering, FRS mapping, and testing coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document user needs and system requirements directly from life sciences stakeholders (e.g., R&D, clinical operations, or commercial teams)
• FRS Mapping: Map business needs to Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), ensuring developers understand the necessary capabilities
• Testing Coordination: Partner with clients to coordinate test case development, build testing plans, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee the software meets user expectations
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform basic data analysis and create reports or dashboards to communicate project performance and key insights
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between IT development teams and business users to translate complex technical jargon into understandable business language

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology), Computer Science, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of direct experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments, often requiring an understanding of regulatory compliance
• 5+ years of proficiency in software development lifecycles (SDLC) like Agile/Scrum, database tools (SQL), and process-mapping software (Visio)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• 10+ Yrs. experience in Life Sciences industry
