Lead Software Engineer

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer on behalf of our client in St. Louis, MO. This role involves driving the design and development of next-generation software solutions and AI-powered frameworks, focusing on scalable applications and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable Agentic AI frameworks using MCP layers and LLM technologies
• Build, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, REST APIs, Angular, and React
• Develop and maintain internal and external dashboards using Qlik Sense
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather functional and technical requirements
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Qlik Sense environments and data sources
• Manage dashboard deployments, user access, and security configurations
• Evaluate and optimize platform performance and cluster health
• Design and implement high-quality Data Marts that support enterprise products and analytics
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to ensure data quality, scalability, and integrity
• Interpret conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support application development
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and process flowcharts to facilitate knowledge sharing
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and engineering best practices across development teams
