Mainframe DevOps Engineer

Quebec Solutions Inc. (QSI) is a leading IT consulting and technology solutions provider headquartered in Plano, TX, serving clients across the United States. They are seeking an experienced Mainframe DevOps Engineer with expertise in Endevor, IBM DBB, Git, IDD, and Mainframe Modernization for a long-term remote contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Endevor (and other SCM) , DBB/Git/IDD migration projects
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot DBB/Git/IDD on IBM z/OS environments
• Analyze, convert, and validate Endevor applications
• Provide technical support and resolve DBB/Git/IDD-related issues
• Conduct customer training sessions and prepare technical documentation
• Collaborate with IBM teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Document migration processes, best practices, and technical resolutions

Requirements:

• Strong Application Development or Systems Programming background
• Proven installation and migration experience on IBM z/OS
• Excellent customer-facing, communication, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Endevor
• Experience with IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB)
• Experience with Git & Repository Management
• Experience with IDD/IDz
• Experience with Groovy
• Experience with YAML
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with Branching Strategies
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of Systems Programming experience
• 4+ years of customer-facing consulting experience
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management and Change Management
• Hands-on experience in Mainframe Modernization, SCM, and DBB/Git/IDD
