Business Systems Analyst

BHG Financial is a leading firm in debt recovery solutions, committed to ethical conduct and exceptional service. They are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, focusing on improving systems and processes to enhance performance outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Work with management and end-users to understand business challenges and system needs
• Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains
• Build, maintain, and monitor system workflows
• Design new or updated systems and applications to meet specific business needs
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for the development team
• Sometimes analyze data to help with decision-making and to identify problems or opportunities
• Monitor the performance and efficiency of business systems and provide support
• Create and maintain clear and concise documentation, such as user manuals, process flows, and requirements documents
• Assist with testing software programs to ensure they function as required and align with business objectives
• Serve as a liaison between business users and support departments (IT development team, Applications team, Support teams, ect) to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with various stakeholders, from management to end-users
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in SQL preferred
