Graffeo Coffee Roasting Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to develop and lead their retention and subscription strategy. The role focuses on improving the customer journey and enhancing subscription conversion and retention through data analysis and cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead Graffeo’s retention and subscription strategy
- Design and improve the end-to-end subscriber journey
- Increase subscription conversion, retention and customer lifetime value
- Build thoughtful lifecycle programs across email, direct mail and other relevant channels
- Apply proven retention practices without resorting to transactional or off-brand customer experiences
- Analyze customer cohorts, campaign performance and subscription behavior to identify opportunities and sources of churn
- Build a disciplined testing program across messaging, timing, offers, cadence and customer experience
- Conduct customer research and translate what you learn into practical changes
- Establish measurable goals and report clearly on results, findings and priorities
- Work with marketing, e-commerce, operations and customer service to create a consistent experience across every touchpoint
- Align retention initiatives with inventory, product availability and broader brand priorities
- Personally execute much of the work while setting the broader strategy
Requirements:
- Meaningful experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, loyalty or subscription marketing
- Experience owning customer journeys for a DTC, e-commerce, membership or recurring-purchase business
- Strong command of Klaviyo and Shopify
- Experience with subscription platforms; Graffeo uses Loop
- Hands-on experience with email marketing, segmentation, automation and experimentation
- Strong analytical ability, including cohort analysis, reporting and customer lifetime-value measurement
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to create persuasive, brand-appropriate email content
- Sound judgment and sensitivity to the details that shape a premium consumer experience
- A practical, independent operator who can move comfortably between strategy and execution
- Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely
- Excellent written and spoken English and meaningful working overlap with Pacific Time
- Experience in food, beverage, beauty, wellness, pet or another habitual-purchase category is helpful but not required
