About this role
DAERO is the first AI suite for construction managers and builders, enabling data capture and coordination directly from the field. They are looking for a Software Engineer to own the entire product development lifecycle for their Android App, ensuring high reliability and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable Android systems using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Gradle
- Implement A/B testing, unit tests, and performance checks for all types of android devices, especially lower-end ones
- Collaborate on backend APIs, microservices, and integration workflows
- Participate in system design discussions to ensure long-term scalability
Requirements:
- You love Kotlin/Android App development, and have stood up several apps before
- Deep understanding of Jetpack Compose, Gradle, and Android performance tooling
- Strong foundation in System design and API integration
- Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD
- Exposure to AWS
- Exposure to Supabase
