About this role
Ikigai is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their team and drive data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects and process improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and propose solutions
- Develop and present reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making
- Work closely with IT and development teams to implement system changes and enhancements
- Conduct gap analysis, risk assessments, and workflow evaluations
- Support Agile teams by writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and participating in sprint planning
- Ensure compliance with business policies, industry standards, and best practices
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related role
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Workday)
- Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA)
- Knowledge of financial modeling, market research, or business intelligence
