Hybrid Cloud Engineer

Talent Acquisition LLC is a global professional services firm seeking a Hybrid Cloud Engineer to join its Information Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving a hybrid cloud environment while ensuring high performance, scalability, security, and reliability across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, and data center environments
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve scalability, performance, and security
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure high availability and operational consistency
• Integrate cloud services into existing and future infrastructure architectures
• Ensure system stability and reliability by applying best practices and continuous improvement methodologies
• Support compliance with IT governance standards, including change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Partner with security and compliance teams to meet audit and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute a global infrastructure and technology roadmap
• Coordinate project delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, configurations, and procedures
• Oversee implementation of new technologies and enhancements to existing systems
• Stay current with emerging technologies and engage with vendors to evolve infrastructure capabilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure (compute, storage, and data centers)
• Experience working in large, global, multi-office environments across multiple time zones
• Demonstrated expertise in hybrid cloud environments, including infrastructure, networking, and security
• Experience with hybrid cloud solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure and related services
• Proficiency with tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
• Strong experience with enterprise virtualization platforms and core infrastructure systems
• Experience administering enterprise Linux environments, including performance tuning and automation
• Knowledge of monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies
• Understanding of identity and access management, role-based access control, and secure hybrid connectivity
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions
• Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and infrastructure
• Experience within a professional services environment is a plus
