About this role
Risqor Labs is the technology division of OccuMedX, focused on building modern software that transforms workforce health and operational intelligence. They are seeking a Founding Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop their flagship platform, Risqor Nexus, from the ground up, working directly with executive leadership to shape the architecture and engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain the Risqor Nexus platform
- Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Design scalable backend services and APIs
- Build secure and maintainable database architecture
- Develop reusable application components and shared libraries
- Deliver production-quality software with an emphasis on maintainability and performance
- Partner directly with executive leadership on product direction
- Help define the technical architecture and engineering roadmap
- Recommend tools, frameworks, and development best practices
- Establish engineering standards, documentation, and workflows
- Help shape the future engineering team as the platform grows
- Implement secure authentication and authorization
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database structures
- Build integrations with internal systems and external APIs
- Develop reporting and analytics capabilities
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability
- Translate operational workflows into elegant software solutions
- Collaborate closely with clinical, operations, and executive teams
- Participate in architecture reviews and product planning
- Contribute to long-term product strategy and innovation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Experience building production applications with React
- Experience designing and working with PostgreSQL databases
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and collaborative software development
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with executive leadership
