About this role
Outpatient App is a Health Workflow Automation platform that significantly benefits patients and medical staff. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their early developer team, responsible for building core infrastructure and back end services while ensuring a great user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build core infrastructure for our mobile and web apps and messaging system
- Build out back end services and persistence solutions
- Explore technical feasibility
- Deliver clean, well-documented code that our users can rely on
Requirements:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Node.js and JavaScript
- Demonstrated experience in cloud environments
- Passion for creating robust systems to minimize ops impact
- Experience with databases (Postgres, Redis)
- Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver
- Possess ability to adequately size projects and provide status updates
- Understanding of code documentation best practices and style
- Strong communication skills with developers and non-technical staff
- Must learn and work well independently, and also within a collaborative team environment
- Generalist engineering experience in order to get things done fast
- Candidate must be US based
- Redux know-how is an awesome bonus
- AWS is a plus
