Senior UI/UX Designer (Mobile App)

Nixacom is building a premium consumer product and is seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to create a world-class user experience. The role requires a designer who can balance aesthetics and usability while designing mobile app interfaces and improving existing UI and UX.

Responsibilities:

• Design new mobile app screens and user flows
• Improve existing UI and UX throughout the product
• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs
• Build and maintain a scalable design system
• Design onboarding experiences
• Design recipe browsing and recipe detail experiences
• Design AI scanning and ingredient recognition flows
• Create subscription and paywall experiences
• Design empty states, success states, and error states
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation
• Iterate quickly based on team and user feedback

Requirements:

• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience
• Strong portfolio of mobile app work
• Experience designing consumer-facing applications
• Expert in Figma
• Strong understanding of UX principles
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns
• Ability to create clean design systems
• Excellent visual hierarchy and typography skills
• Ability to balance aesthetics and usability
• Food, health, lifestyle, productivity, or AI applications
• Startup environments
