Virtual Machine Engineer

RIVA Solutions, Inc. is a mission-driven IT services company supporting digital transformation for Federal government agencies. They are seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer / Architect to provide engineering and architecture leadership for various infrastructure components, focusing on virtualization and cloud readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer VMware, Windows, Linux, storage, and core infrastructure
• Administer VMware vSphere, vCenter, Aria, Horizon, and SRM
• Perform monitoring, patching, backup, recovery, and optimization
• Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud readiness
• Develop PowerShell automation
• Administer CyberArk PAM
• Engineer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Manage enterprise PKI and certificate lifecycle
• Support security hardening and DISA STIG compliance
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years enterprise systems engineering experience
• Expertise with VMware, Windows Server, RHEL, Azure, Active Directory, CyberArk, and NetApp
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Experience supporting regulated Federal environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• VMware VCSA and datastore experience
• Satellite backup and restore
• DISA STIG knowledge
• WSUS, SCCM, MECM experience
• HHS or Federal civilian experience
