Business Analyst - Technical SR-5215584 - CIPRS Support

Sansar Tec, LLC is seeking Business Analysts to support the State of Louisiana Department of Corrections Information Program and Records System (CIPRS). The role focuses on data migration and conversion, documenting business processes and requirements, translating requirements into functional and technical designs, and evaluating existing business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Support resource for data migration and conversion activities
• Documenting business processes and requirements around data conversion approaches
• Translate requirements into functional and technical designs, including implementing stories and process flows
• Recommend eliminating, retaining, or enhancing business processes and documenting those results

Requirements:

• Four (4) years experience in data migration, cleansing and conversion projects
• Three (3) years experience in data analysis using SQL queries to assist with the technical design effort, data cleansing effort and resolution of bugs/defects
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs
• Ability to create complex SQL queries
• Experience with Corrections processes
• Ability to understand complex business problems
• Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues
• Understanding of the underlying technical architecture and legacy systems
• Understanding of database platforms and database design
