Manage and grow a portfolio ranging from $100k to $2.5M within the assigned geographic territory
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Optimize the portfolio through the clients’ use of the line of credit
Identify and mitigate pre-default account risk
Support post-default collections on defaulted accounts
Achieve goals and performance targets as set by the company by regularly engaging with clients in person or virtually and collaborating with internal partners to drive revenue and maximize profitability
Educate clients on desired performance behaviors, self-service options, and best practices
Collect and analyze client financial information and internal reports to assess dealer performance
Document in Salesforce all activities and client interactions as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field (finance, client facing, B2B, account management and/or collections)
The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field in lieu of a degree
Automotive and/or floorplan industry background preferred
Financial knowledge and acumen preferred
Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients, collaborate with internal team members, and external partners at various levels within the organization
Strong time management skills with ability to manage deadlines
Strong negotiation and collection skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
Ability to maintain a high level of safety awareness and take necessary safety precautions
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Salesforce
