Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer with 11+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data integration, data warehousing, SQL development, and performance optimization, along with experience working in complex enterprise environments.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Strong experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Talend, IBM DataStage, or ODI.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database programming.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, or Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Experience developing complex ETL mappings, workflows, and data transformation logic.
• Expertise in ETL performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Cron.
• Knowledge of data quality, data validation, and data governance best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with cloud ETL services like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Knowledge of Python, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes for enterprise data integration.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop efficient ETL solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL workflows, mappings, stored procedures, and SQL queries.
• Perform ETL performance tuning and resolve production issues.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems.
• Work closely with data architects, business analysts, DBAs, and application teams.
• Support data migration, data warehouse enhancements, and system integration projects.
• Create technical documentation, ETL design documents, and deployment guides.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the ETL team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
• Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming technologies.
• Experience in healthcare, banking, insurance, or financial services domains.
• ETL or cloud certifications are a plus.

Education

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
