Position Overview
Client is seeking a Palantir Foundry Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions within the Palantir Foundry platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, developing ontologies, creating operational applications, and enabling business users to leverage data-driven insights across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, engineering, and logistics functions.
The engineer will collaborate with data architects, business stakeholders, and application teams to integrate enterprise data sources, build semantic data models, and deliver Foundry applications that improve operational efficiency and decision-making. Relevant Foundry skills frequently referenced in internal Palantir engineering profiles include Pipeline Builder, Ontology, Workshop, Contour, Quiver, Slate, AIP, Code Repositories, and Data Lineage capabilities.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.
Strong experience with:
o Pipeline Builder
o Ontology Manager
o Workshop
o Contour
o Code Repositories / Code Workspaces
o Data Lineage
Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL development skills.
Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience integrating enterprise data sources through APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and data connections.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and security controls.
Experience working in Agile development environments. Relevant Palantir engineering experience in internal profiles consistently emphasizes Pipeline Builder, Ontology development, Workshop applications, data integration, Health Checks, and governance practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Palantir Foundry certifications.
Experience with Palantir AIP and Generative AI solutions.
Experience developing ontology-based operational applications.
Manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or automotive industry experience.
Experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Kafka, or Databricks.
Experience building Slate, Quiver, or Contour visualizations and dashboards. Foundry engineers in internal resumes frequently combine AIP, ontology modeling, real-time analytics, cloud integration,
and operational application development.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Palantir Foundry.
Build and enhance enterprise ontologies that model business processes, assets, products, suppliers, and operational workflows.
Develop data ingestion frameworks and integrations for ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, and operational systems.
Create Foundry Workshop applications to support operational decision-making and workflow automation.
Develop dashboards and analytics solutions using Contour, Quiver, and related Foundry tools.
Implement data quality controls, monitoring, lineage tracking, and Health Checks.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Foundry solutions.
Support CI/CD processes, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Enable data-driven use cases involving predictive analytics, operational intelligence, and AI-powered workflows. These responsibilities align with capabilities described across multiple Palantir Foundry engineer profiles stored internally.
