Principal Software Engineer

Game Plan Tech LLC is a mission-driven consulting and services firm helping government teams access innovative technologies. They are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to lead software development projects and drive innovation within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the design and development of software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software products
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to promote a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Work closely with product managers to prioritize features and deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in Full Stack software development
• Proven expertise in Cloud computing, Kubernetes, and AI technologies
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills
