Social Media Marketing Intern

Scanon AI is a data security software company focused on protecting privacy in photos and videos shared online. They are seeking a part-time, remote Social Media Marketing Intern to support social media activities and collaborate with marketing teams to enhance online presence.

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day social media activities
• Creating and publishing content across platforms
• Monitoring engagement
• Responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting with campaign planning
• Scheduling posts
• Tracking performance metrics
• Sharing insights to help refine social media strategies
• Collaborating with marketing and product teams to highlight product features
• Privacy-focused messaging
• User education content
• Helping identify trends
• Proposing new content formats
• Contributing to building Scanon AI’s online presence and brand awareness

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation, with an understanding of major platforms and audience engagement
• Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, including basic campaign planning and performance tracking
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences
• Interest in data privacy, cybersecurity, or AI-driven technologies, and willingness to learn about the product and industry
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chicago Area, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Familiarity with basic analytics tools and content scheduling platforms is a plus
