Senior Project Manager

Quanta Services, Inc. is the largest specialty contractor in North America, leading the energy transition in building a better world. They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and execute complex federal projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while maintaining high standards of performance and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Directs integrated DB/EPC project teams from pursuit through close-out to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations
• Coordinates with federal agencies, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to align deliverables and foster collaboration
• Develops and manages project budgets, forecasts costs, and ensures effective resource allocation and utilization
• Ensures full adherence to federal contract requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS), proactively identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies
• Develops and maintains comprehensive project schedules, tracking milestones to meet project deadlines and performance objectives
• Leads individual projects while mentoring, supervising, and motivating cross-functional project teams while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, Quality and safety
• Provides and maintains detailed and timely status reports and project documentation to clients and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience
• Strong track record overseeing Design-Build (DB) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) efforts
• Expert knowledge of federal regulations and compliance
• Exceptional leadership capabilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Accountable for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
• Experience managing State, Municipal and Federal government projects
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• PMP, Six Sigma, OSHA 30 or other relevant certifications are a must
• Deep familiarity with federal contracting procedures, compliance frameworks, and procurement standards (FAR, DFARS, 413, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools such as Kahua, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Active or ability to obtain federal security clearance, and background check as required by project stipulations
• Management and a construction-based degree is preferred
• PMP certification preferred
