Data Engineer

Stitch Fix is redefining retail by combining human creativity with advanced data science and Generative AI. In this role, you will build large additions to the data engineering framework, contributing to an infrastructure that centralizes ETL logic and metric definitions.

Requirements:

• You have a degree in an engineering or computer science field
• You have 2+ years of work experience in data engineering or closely related field, with strong experience in data modeling and data job development
• You have some familiarity with using technologies like Spark, dbt, Fivetran, & Airflow to access an S3 data warehouse
• You have experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, etc. and enjoy using them to streamline day-to-day tasks like testing and problem-solving, actively documenting effective prompts and sharing learnings to build scalable, repeatable workflows
• You have experience partnering cross-functionally and enjoy gathering input from stakeholders
• You are a proactive communicator who helps simplify and move complex problems forward
• You have experience coding at a production level in Python and SQL
• You are innovative and inspired to take on new challenges and you do not shy away from potential failure
