About this role
ELEGANTEKLLC is seeking a Senior Java Developer capable of working remotely or onsite within CST or EST time zones. The role involves providing technical leadership, developing software using Java and JavaScript, and collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership
- Perform development using Java, JavaScript and other relevant programming languages
- Work within and across teams to design, develop, test and debug code for existing or new applications
- Provide technical mentorship to other developers
- Work closely with Product Management, QA, Professional Services and Customer Support
- Review business and functional requirements, contribute to the roadmap
- Work with QA, PM and Services to build test cases and documentation and explain impacted test areas
- Assist with development support issues
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Java and JavaScript and common Java and JavaScript libraries
- Experience with Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Spring Boot, SQL and Cloud experience required
- Experience developing modern, attractive, web-based UIs
- Close familiarity with modern UI technologies
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- A good fit with co-workers, good people skills
- Positive working and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
