CELLocity is a network services and ecosystem company focused on the emerging CBRS market. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee sales activities related to Private Wireless business, develop sales plans, and engage with customers to assist in their transition to Cloud Services.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, build, and manage client relationships
- Interact with customers at the technical level, as required
- Remain current on relevant technical information by attending meetings, conferences, task forces, and events
- Client presentations and preparation of proposals and documents
- Aggressively close sales
- Apply standard processes throughout the design and fulfillment of wireless solutions
- Perform a variety of activities and functions to support the company and help broaden your knowledge of the business
- Responsible for meeting assigned bookings objectives
- Conduct consultation and strategy meetings with clients
- Develop and manage a robust, metrics-driven sales plan in the target vertical that ensures attainment of corporate goals and key performance indicators; manage the sales pipeline
- Proactively prospect and independently identify leads and key decision makers for target
- Develops sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration within the target vertical and/or region
- Screen potential business deals/opportunities with end user customers & analyzing market strategies, deal/opportunity requirements, prospect and market potential
- Meet or exceed sales targets through detailed account planning and weekly forecasting sessions
- Build long lasting relationships with key industry decision makers that lead to continued sales, new upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends
- Cultivate business relationships through networking, industry events, and outbound marketing
- Maintain industry and technical knowledge; participate in industry tradeshows and conferences
- Research and provide insight on competitive positioning
- Assist in decisions involving price structure and price negotiations
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion to make decisions
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in consultative sales with complex, high technology solutions
- Experience in one of the following: Telecommunications, Networking, Wireless, Cellular, Facility industry desired
- Ability to work as team member
