Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (React Native)

Necessary Ventures is a fast-growing startup focused on building a modern payments stack for inclusive commerce. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (React Native) to lead large-scale projects for their app, improve frontend infrastructure, and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large multi-engineer projects for the Forage EBT Shopper app
• Balance business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability in trade offs when balancing new feature requests and necessary engineering improvements
• Influence frontend development at Forage by sharing technical vision and providing guidance
• Make teammates at Forage more effective through better frontend infrastructure and tooling
• Mentor teammates and others around frontend best practices

Requirements:

• 3+ years of mobile engineering experience building end-to-end user solutions
• Experience in React Native, especially having built an app from scratch
• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives within your team, mentoring engineers through design and delivery, contributing meaningfully to roadmap discussions, and independently driving complex projects from design through execution
