About this role
Polar IT is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to join Carilion's Health Analytics team. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, creating and maintaining dashboards using Tableau, and analyzing data with SQL to ensure data accuracy and insights.
Responsibilities:
- Working with stakeholder's to understand and gather requirements to provide to data engineer team members
- Creating new and maintaining dashboards using Tableau
- Providing visual insights into KPIs and business metrics
- Using SQL to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to make sure the data is validated and matches correctly
Requirements:
- 6+ years of Data Engineer experience working with Python
- Git/Git Actions, AWS stack (Code commit, s3, Lamda, Code Repository, Code pipeline), working with APIs and has built CI/CD pipelines
- Tableau experience is nice to have
- Nice to have- Snowflake and Tableau
