Gitar is a seed-stage company on a mission to revolutionize how developers work with code. They are seeking current Ph.D. students in Computer Science and related fields for Summer ‘25 internships to design and develop developer tooling that impacts developers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain production-quality developer tooling, including tools related to automated code refactoring, program analysis for security and reliability, and compiler optimizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features based on both known PL fundamentals and cutting edge research
- Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Innovate and introduce new technologies to enhance our developer platform
- Gain both early stage startup experience and learn from a team with years of experience in industry development of program analysis tools
