Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join a rapidly growing Vancouver-based startup building next-generation SaaS infrastructure for video streaming.
• Backed by recent funding, the organization is expanding its engineering team to scale a complex multi-platform streaming platform across Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), and TV applications.This is a strategic Quality Assurance opportunity rather than a traditional QA execution role.
• The ideal candidate will help define quality strategy, establish testing methodologies, influence product quality standards, and collaborate closely with engineering leadership to ensure highly reliable, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategies for a complex multi-platform SaaS product.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing methodologies.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute manual and automated testing across Web, Android, iOS, and TV platforms.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and technical leadership throughout the SDLC.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
• Validate backend services, APIs, and microservices interactions.
• Establish measurable quality standards and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability testing initiatives.
• Participate in defining quality gates for product releases.
• Translate complex technical challenges into testable quality requirements.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation practices, and overall product quality.
• Support engineering teams during rapid product growth and platform evolution.

Required Skills

• 2 4 years of Quality Assurance experience within B2B SaaS or technical product environments.
• Hands-on experience testing Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), and/or TV applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing enterprise SaaS applications built on Microservices Architecture.
