Visual Edge IT empowers businesses by providing innovative technology solutions. As a Business Development Representative, you will identify and create new business opportunities while utilizing modern sales tools to connect clients with effective technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and nurture strategic relationships with prospective clients and partners
- Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads through proactive outreach, research, and targeted campaigns
- Execute high-volume outbound calls and emails to engage potential customers and schedule sales meetings
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges and align VEIT solutions accordingly
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to execute integrated lead-generation campaigns
- Manage all lead activity within the CRM, ensuring data integrity and visibility across the sales organization
- Work closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and ensure smooth transitions
- Continuously improve outreach messaging, cadence, and conversion strategies using performance data
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively position VEIT solutions
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales opportunity targets
Requirements:
- Proven ability to generate leads and build relationships through professional outreach
- Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6sense, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, consultative approach
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Resilient, coachable, and motivated by both personal and team success
- A passion for technology and a genuine curiosity to understand how it can solve real business challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (B2B preferred)
