Sonova Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale projects critical to organizational success. This role involves ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while fostering collaboration across departments and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and contingency strategies
- Implement robust risk management processes and ensure adherence to project objectives and success criteria
- Provide regular status updates, financial performance reports, and ensure alignment with business priorities
- Act as the primary liaison between project teams and stakeholders across departments such as R&D, Operations, Quality, and Legal
- Facilitate collaboration to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements
- Oversee multiple project workstreams, monitor progress, identify issues, and resolve conflicts promptly
- Evaluate trade-offs between scope, complexity, and cost to maintain project integrity
- Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, including standardization of workflows and documentation
- Promote best practices and coach teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain transparent and proactive communication with sponsors and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure alignment on objectives, milestones, and deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 10 years equivalent work experience
- degree in engineering and / or advanced degree a plus
- PMP Certification
- Ability to thoroughly analyze complex systems and situations
- Willingness and ability to take and assume timely decisions with minimal direct supervision
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to re-prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to instruct & coach a team with appreciation and questioning of teams' work & results
- Ability to assess project risks and plan accordingly / take preventative action
- Assess project status and team members' reports
- Understanding of feasibility and risks related to project management
- Ability to evaluate technical reports outside their own background
- Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
- English Fluency (written and spoken)
- A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
