Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation Analyst, Marketing Campaign Development

Cypress HCM is seeking a Marketing Automation Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud. This role focuses on developing, automating, and executing personalized marketing campaigns through audience creation and customer journey development.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Data Cloud audiences and calculated insights
• Create audience segmentation for marketing campaigns
• Validate audience counts, attributes, and activation readiness before deployment
• Partner with Marketing Operations, Data Engineering, and MarTech teams to troubleshoot data and audience issues
• Configure Data Extensions using Data Cloud audiences
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, automations, and Data Extensions
• Build and support Journey Builder campaigns and automated customer journeys
• Perform comprehensive QA on audience eligibility, personalization logic, and journey functionality
• Monitor campaign performance and troubleshoot automation or data issues
• Document campaign configurations, technical specifications, and deployment processes
• Follow governance standards, naming conventions, and change management processes
• Support testing and deployment of new Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud capabilities

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
• Strong experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, SQL, and Data Extensions
• 2+ years of Salesforce Data Cloud experience or comparable enterprise Customer Data Platform experience
• Strong SQL skills with experience working across large relational datasets
• Experience building customer segments, lifecycle campaigns, and personalized marketing programs
• Understanding of customer identity resolution, audience governance, and data modeling
• Experience troubleshooting complex marketing automation and data integration issues
• Ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Salesforce Data Cloud certifications are a plus
