GovCIO is seeking a Project Analyst to join the Health Technology Management Services (HTMS) team. The selected candidate will provide contracted support to the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology, assisting with the administrative and operational functions of the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items as assigned by the Project Manager
- Support and report to the Project/Program Manager to prepare and revise VA and GCIO reports and presentations related to the supported product
- Assist the Project Manager in collecting data call responses
- Provide subject matter expertise in risk management, ensuring risks are documented and communicated effectively
- Develop, gather, and disseminate technical information among business and technical customers to support the Project/Program Manager
- Support product data needs through clear, concise communication, serving as the single point of contact and ensuring tasks are completed ahead of deadlines
- Maintain project data in tools such as JIRA, Teams and SharePoint as directed by the Project Manager
- Serve as backup for the HTMS Project Manager as needed
- Lead small projects as assigned
- Anticipate recurring tasks and plan accordingly
- Assess process gaps and recommend improvements to current procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in: Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or a related field
- 5 years of related experience
- 5-7 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for educational Experience working with IT project delivery
- Ability to meet deadlines, including short-notice requests
- Works well in a team environment
