Sales Engineer

ECI Software Solutions is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support and drive the growth of their ERP e-automate and add-on solutions. This role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with various teams to ensure customer alignment and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tailored product demonstrations based on prospect requirements
• Clearly articulate the value and differentiators of ECI solutions versus competitors
• Translate technical concepts into accessible language for business stakeholders
• Support scoping, discovery, and proposal review sessions; gather technical and business requirements
• Evaluate if client needs are met through standard product features or require custom development
• Present solution options with risk-benefit analysis and strategic recommendations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and sales teams to drive continuous improvement and customer alignment
• Build solution documentation and contribute to marketing initiatives like webinars and trade shows
• Continuously train internal sales and aftermarket teams on updates and demo strategies

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software pre-sales or sales engineering, demonstrating systems
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and field service management software
• Technical fluency with APIs, SQL, and familiarity with cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, multi-tenant)
• Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills — including web-based demos and proposal responses
• Ability to influence and educate both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com, MS Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Travel up to 20%
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
