Job Description:
Proarch is looking for a motivated Product Owner with 5-8 years of experience in Payroll and HR Systems (mandatory), FinTech (secondary) domains. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into product features, manage the backlog, and support the delivery of high-quality financial products and solutions. This role requires strong analytical thinking, domain knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Product Planning and Requirement Management
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into detailed user stories and requirements.
- Participate in defining product roadmaps and feature prioritization aligned with business goals.
- Ensure user stories include clear acceptance criteria and support development teams during refinement.
- Maintain, groom, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clarity and readiness for development.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Identify dependencies, constraints, and risks early in the planning cycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related clarifications.
- Work closely with stakeholders across business, operations, compliance, and engineering.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives as needed.
- Support end-to-end product lifecycle from requirement gathering to UAT and post-release validation.
- Monitor product performance and gather user feedback for improvements.
- Ensure products adhere to financial, regulatory, and security standards.
- Understand customer pain points and market trends to contribute to product improvements.
- Conduct functional analysis and benchmark features relevant to Payroll and HR Systems (mandatory), FinTech (secondary), and HR Systems solutions.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in Payroll and HR Systems (mandatory), FinTech (secondary), or Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of financial workflows such as payments processing, payroll calculations, banking operations, reconciliation, compliance, or tax logic.
- Hands-on experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in API-driven product development or system integrations.
- Exposure to digital banking platforms, payroll engines, or financial automation tools.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe Product Owner are preferred.
