About this role
Role Overview
Collect, validate and maintain sustainability and ESG datasets from internal teams and external partners.
Support the tracking and reporting of environmental and social performance metrics.
Maintain accurate records relating to product certifications, supplier compliance, packaging and sustainability claims.
Ensure data integrity across sustainability systems, supplier platforms and internal databases.
Assist with data cleansing, reconciliation and quality assurance activities.
Produce regular sustainability performance reports and dashboards.
Support ESG reporting requirements and disclosure processes.
Analyse trends and identify data anomalies, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Support carbon, packaging and responsible sourcing reporting activities.
Assist with the collection and validation of evidence required for audits and compliance activities.
Support the management of certification and traceability data within relevant platforms.
Monitor supplier data submissions and follow up where information is incomplete.
Help ensure reporting aligns with emerging sustainability regulations and industry requirements.
Support the administration and development of sustainability data systems and tracking tools.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
Contribute to the development of new dashboards, automated reporting and process documentation.
Work closely with Sustainability, Product, Sourcing and Technology teams to improve data availability and accessibility.
Requirements
Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
Excellent Excel skills, including data manipulation, lookups and pivot tables.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple data sources and deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools. (Desirable)
Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability metrics. (Desirable)
Experience working with large datasets. (Desirable)
Understanding of retail, supply chain or product data. (Desirable)
Familiarity with traceability or compliance systems. (Desirable)
