- Examine incoming shipments; reject damaged items; record shortages; correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Match merchandise and quantities to purchase orders
- Receive merchandise using handheld units and route to processing areas
- Operate lift truck

Minimum
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus six months distribution/service center experience and six months order filler experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work weekends, work any shift, and overtime
- Accuracy/attention to detail
- Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
- Knowledge of standard product packaging and the ability to identify discrepancies
- Familiarity with distribution center receiving terms and processes
- Ability to operate a forklift, and pallet jack
- Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license
