Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Job Type: Contract
- Minimum 10+ years of experience with good work experience in the Banking domain.
- Strong experience in:
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Azure Synapse
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Experience in creating data pipelines and migrating data from on-premises databases to Azure Cloud Database.
- Experience creating and managing Azure Databricks services.
- Experience reading and writing data from/to Azure Blob Storage and Azure Synapse Gen2 Storage using Azure Databricks, working with different file formats such as:
- CSV
- Parquet
- JSON
Data is sourced from the Snowflake Data Warehouse (DWH) platform.
- Hands-on experience working with the Databricks File System (DBFS).
- Experience working with:
- RDD
- DataFrame
- Azure SQL Database
- Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
- Very strong experience in:
- SQL
- Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
