ABOUT THE ROLEOur client is a global healthcare company dedicated to developing and delivering innovative diagnostic, medical device, nutrition, and pharmaceutical solutions. As part of its diagnostics division, the client supports healthcare providers worldwide with laboratory and point-of-care testing platforms that improve patient care and clinical decision-making. This project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and optimize the installed base of point-of-care analyzers across customer sites in Southern, Seacoast/Central, and Upper Valley/North New Hampshire. Field Technicians will play a critical role in supporting onsite software deployments and inventory validation activities at healthcare customer locations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and enjoys traveling to support technical field initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Travel to healthcare customer locations across assigned New Hampshire regions to perform scheduled software upgrade activities on diagnostic analyzers
- Execute USB software upgrades on designated diagnostic analyzers and verify successful installation and proper analyzer functionality following each upgrade
- Collect and document equipment inventory information and customer site details, including primary point of contact and customer feedback
- Complete electronic site surveys and capture site photographs when permitted
- Maintain accurate project documentation and submit required reports after each customer visit
- Communicate project status, issues, and customer feedback to project leadership, including technical and product leads, Medasource Program Advisor, and Project Coordinator
- Adhere to all customer site policies, safety protocols, and project procedures
WHAT YOU BRING- Experience as a Field Service Technician, Biomedical Equipment Technician, Medical Device Technician, IT Field Technician, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Comfortable traveling to multiple customer sites within assigned region
- Strong attention to detail and accurate technical documentation skills
- Experience with medical devices, laboratory equipment, or healthcare technology preferred
- Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to follow technical work instructions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily travel schedule
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Electronics, IT, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or related field preferred
