Radiation Oncology - Insurance Navigator (Temporary)
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position has a key role in a variety of tasks related to the revenue cycle and tasks that are essential for ensuring patients have a positive care experience. The Cancer Care Center Insurance Navigator collaborates closely with the Cancer Center Director to drive growth, enhance cancer patient care, and maintain high standards within the island healthcare community.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
▪ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
▪ Successful completion of an accredited medical terminology course(s) or equivalent on the job training preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience in patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, or related function preferred.
