Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Integration Developer to architect, build, and configure data pipelines between Greenhouse (Recruiting/HRIS Link) and Workday.

While we are implementing the native Hire Link for Workday to automate inbound hiring payloads, our organizational architecture requires a hybrid model to handle advanced workflows. You will design and implement the custom layers required to bridge Workday and Greenhouse for complex requisition approval chains, bi-directional custom field mapping, and user permission management.

Core Responsibilities

• Hybrid Integration Architecture: Develop and maintain data flows pairing Greenhouse Hire Link (inbound hire payloads) with Greenhouse HRIS Link for upstream data management.
• Custom Field & Options Mapping: Configure Workday RaaS (Report-as-a-Service) reports and transform JSON/XML data payloads to match Greenhouse immutable field keys for automated custom fields.
• Dynamic Dropdown Syncing: Build and maintain automated web service scripts via Workday Web Services (WWS) to drive Greenhouse Custom Options Sync for volatile data sets (e.g., changing Cost Centers, Departments, and Office Locations).
• Approvals & Requisition Sync: Translate Workday business process hierarchies into functional Greenhouse Job and Offer Approver roles using structured outbound RaaS data transfers.
• User Lifecycle Automation: Configure and test HRIS Link User Sync to provision/deprovision profiles, and design an administrative workaround for translating Workday Security Groups into localized Greenhouse permission tiers.
• Testing & Root-Cause Analysis: Conduct rigorous data-integrity testing across sandbox environments, isolating payload errors, API rate-limiting issues, and data discrepancies.

Key Requirements

• Workday Technical Toolset: Proven hands-on contract experience with Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), Core Connectors, and RaaS custom reporting.
• Greenhouse API Expertise: Deep, technical familiarity with the Greenhouse Developer Center, HRIS Link schemas, Harvest API, and webhooks.
• Data Transformation: Advanced proficiency in writing and troubleshooting XSLT transformations, XML, and JSON payloads.
• Workflow Automation: Strong background aligning complex HR business processes (specifically corporate approval workflows and candidate-to-pre-hire conversion pipelines).
